Shopmonkey is a skilled team with a focus on design and technology. We are happy with every new customer, but only when a customer is still happy with us in five years time. Commercially, but also personally. How do we ensure this? Mainly by delivering perfect work that meets or even exceeds your customer's needs or wishes.
The very beginning
At the end of 2009, we were young, with technical knowledge in house, but we had no investment budget and still wanted to do business. We built our own webshops for products ranging from electronics to wines and more.
From owner to developer
Soon, we changed course. From now on, we were webshop developers. A good decision! At the end of 2011, we sold our own shops to make room for today's services.
Convince on quality and fair pricing
Convincing customers with the quality of our solutions. That was and is the idea. This led us naturally to SaaS (Software as a Service) or working in and with the cloud. 80% of what we've built up to now runs on Lightspeed, the other 20% is complex custom work. Quality and fair prices.
Our corporate culture
We do not have a strict hierarchy. We just keep everything in one line. You contact the person sitting to the right of the cabinet. The graphics department is ten metres away, opposite the technical department, which is again to the left of the printer and to the right of the refrigerator. Everything in one open space of, say, 150 square metres. No project managers, no telephone menu, no receptionist and we just get the coffee ourselves.
